Grades

Use PowerSchool to access current student grades.

Absences

Parents and guardians can now log into their PowerSchool account to report any absences. If your child is sick, just log into PowerSchool and find the Attendance Monitor link on the left side of your screen (on a desktop/laptop). You can also report future absences! Have an appointment coming up? Click on Attendance Monitor, select the dates and click submit! See visual instructions pdf here

There will be no need for yellow sheets if you report it in Attendance Monitor. Only going to miss a couple of hours? You can report that too. Email and phone calls will still work, but using the PowerSchool Attendance Monitor is the prefered method. Let us know if you need any help by emailing [email protected]

Call Lakeside at 920-648-2321 to report a day-of absence. If before 7:30 a.m., leave a voicemail.

Visit our Forms and Docs page for traditional pre-planned absences and post-absence excuse forms.

Perfect Attendance?

Certificates are available for students achieved perfect attendance for a semester or entire school year. E-mail [email protected] with your student's name and graduation year and we'll send one out.

Health and Medication Guidelines

At registration every year, parents provide health information on the health form. Any changes during the school year that may affect attendance, behavior, or academic performance should be communicated to the school as soon as possible.

If a student needs to take prescription or over-the-counter medication during the school day…
  1. The student may take medication independently, following parents' direction. The student may discretely self-administer medication provided it is in the original packaging. Under no circumstances should prescription medication be shared with anyone else.
  2. Diabetic students should make arrangements with the school office if refrigerated storage is needed. It is their responsibility to see that required foods or juices are available as needed.
  3. If parents want the school to dispense medication, the appropriate permission forms—available through the office—must be completed and directions are required. By Wisconsin state law, schools cannot dispense medication unless these forms are properly filled out.
If a student's medication (at home or at school) may cause side effects that could cause problems at school, parents must notify the school.

By Wisconsin state law, students who use an inhaler to take prescription asthma medication must submit a permission form to the office.
