Academic Bowl
Students may participate by teacher recommendation in a competitive academic bowl in our WIAA Capitol North Conference. The one-night-only event takes place in the fall.
Categories of competition include Language Arts, Science (Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry) and Social Studies (U.S. History, World History, Geography).

2024 Team Results
This year's Academic Bowl team took 1st in the annual Capitol North conference competition! This is the first 1st place finish since 2006. Three individuals also won first place in their events: Lexi Krahn, English 10; Maya Damm, English 9; and Paxon Denning-Caldwell, Geography.
On this night, teens from each class 9-12 answer written and oral questions in English grammar and lit, Sciences, History & Geography and Current Events.
