Bari Vredeveld
The Lord placed the opportunity as Development Assistant before me in March 2007. What a blessing! Prior experience as a stay-at-home mom, operations secretary, and food service manager helped prepare me for the attention to detail, planning, and confidentiality that goes along with my primary responsibilities of building relationships and donor services. Database management, fundraising, and events are a few areas of focus for this administrative and public relations role.
My husband, Chad, and I have two children: Connor (LLHS ’11) and Bethany, Phoenix, AZ and Brock (LLHS ’14), Riley, and grandbabe, Auggie, Milwaukee, WI. I love live music, dogs, gardening, reading, vacations, motorcycle riding, and cheering on our sons in life.
Someone once told me…wherever we are, it is the relationships that make our experience. As a Lakeside staff member, parent, volunteer, supporter, family, and—most importantly—friend in Christ, I feel very thankful.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
