Missy McKenna

I was born and raised in mid Michigan and am a 1993 graduate of Michigan Lutheran Seminary.

My husband, Sam, served on active duty in the Marine Corps/WI Army National Guard for 24 years, which is what eventually brought us to the Lake Mills area. During our years here we have had 3 children graduate from Lakeside ('14, '17, and '21.) Now as empty nesters, we still find ourselves in the stands at many Lakeside events and Sam can often be found volunteering for football, basketball and baseball games.

I have worked at Lakeside since 2008 in a variety of roles and as of summer 2023 I am the Administrative Assistant to the Principal.

I enjoy watching Michigan/Detroit sports, reading, traveling, antiquing and spending time with family, friends and our dog, Annie.

Romans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. This was the sermon text for our wedding and has served us well in our 20+ years of marriage. Thankful to my uncle, who performed our ceremony, for choosing it.
