Nathan Koerber
From Indianapolis, I attended Divine Savior Lutheran for K-8. I graduated from Luther Preparatory School and went straight to Martin Luther College, majoring in Spanish and Education and graduating in May 2012. Then I taught at a university (武汉工程大学) and middle school in Wuhan China for the 2012-13 school year. In China, I taught Oral English, International Oral Trade English, British and American Literature, and some Spanish on the side. I am currently teaching Spanish at Lakeside and have been since 2013.
As for my family, my father was a chemist and my mother was a nurse. I have one brother, Luke, and two sisters, Anna and Leah. My wife, Sarah, and I were married in 2012 and we have children. Outside of work I like to watch movies and fix and build things.
I like many passages but my favorite is, Romans 8:38-39 "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
I consider my ministry at Lakeside to be a blessing and am thankful for the opportunity to teach.
