Placement Exams

Each December, Mr. Lauber visits our Lutheran Elementary Schools to administer a one-hour math placement exam to 8th grade students considering Lakeside. The results of that exam—along with the recommendation of the student's principal—determine the math level in which the student is placed.  An 8th grader interested in Lakeside who does not attend one of its LESs should contact the school to schedule a time to come to Lakeside and write this exam. A student must write this math exam before he/she is scheduled for a math class.

 

8th graders in Algebra 1 are invited to test into Geometry as a freshman. This exam is given at Lakeside in May.
