Summer Camps
Girls Basketball Camp June 16-19
Basketball players are made during the off-season. During this camp, players are taught game fundamentals needed to become better players, with special emphasis placed on the team concept. Daily instruction involves drills, contests and games. Each basketball camp is $75 for the 4-day session & includes a t-shirt & basketball.

Boys & Girls Wrestling Camp June 16-19, 2025
With the Warrior Varsity wrestling team as camp helpers, learn takedowns, escapes, reversals, turning and pinning combinations. Learn the basic rules of wrestling and how to fall without getting hurt. We’ll talk a bit about the history of wrestling and how wrestling can help you succeed in school, in your career, and as a Christian. You’ll also get to do a little bit of “live wrestling” each day. Boys will wrestle only boys and girls will wrestle only girls. We will have a woman on the coaching staff.
$50 includes a camp t-shirt with a fun Warrior wrestling logo.

Distance Running and Track & Field Camp July 7-10
Warrior Running camp introduces the sports of distance running and track and field in a 4-day camp. Students will be able to choose each day between distance running and track and field. They will learn various types of distance running via participation, including endurance, strength, and speed training, with a special emphasis on proper running form. During running breaks, other topics are discussed, such as proper diet for a runner, injury prevention, and the value of strength training, flexibility, and running shoes.
For those who choose track and field, students will learn how to warm up properly, proper running form, how to use blocks, and how to perform a relay exchange. They will also learn how to perform a variety of field events, including shot put, discus, long jump, high jump, and triple jump. As with the distance runners, they will learn about diet, injury prevention, and the value of strength training, flexibility, and running shoes.
Camp is $50 for the 4-day session. Athletes entering grades 4–9 | 8-10:30 AMBoys Football Camp July 14-16
Boys participating in the Lakeside Lutheran Youth Football program are certainly encouraged to attend, but it’s not limited to YFB players. This camp provides a great opportunity for anyone wanting to learn more about the great game of football and improve skills. Camp is $50 for the 3-day session.
