Trapshooting Team
New to the 2024-25 school year is our trapshooting team!
Lakeside is part of the SCTP Scholastic Clay Target Program, which is a national shooting organization for kids elementary through college. Within that organization, LLHS is a member of the Southeast Wisconsin Youth Trapshooting Conference, which is separated into two divisions, small schools and big schools. Lakeside is part of the small school division.
Each week, co-ed Warriors compete against an area school, with each member shooting at 50 targets. The top 5 scores from each team are compared, and the higher number wins that week. They shoot at the same location (Deerfield Rod and Gun Club) for each week of the season, and the scores are entered online. The season is eight weeks long.
